Victory Day
Russians celebrating the day Nazi Germany was defeated. May 9th is considered a major holiday in many former Com-Bloc nations, although Great Britain and Israel also recognize and observe the holiday in their own way. Sadly the inevitable fact that many of the surviving World War II veterans who are honored on this day won’t be around for much longer.

gunrunnerhell: SVU The bullpup version of the SVD Dragunov. Note the folding front sight. It has a specially designed muzzle brake to reduce the recoil of the 7.62x54R. It’s a little difficult to see on the right hand side of the rifle but the SVU does have an added cheek piece to the top cover to give a slightly better sight picture since there is no traditional stock.
